Diverse Dance Skills and Leadership

With over four decades of dedicated experience as a Classical Ballet Master and Professional Ballerina, Cecilia is a distinguished dancer and educator, internationally recognized as a Cultural Ambassador of Peru by the National Congress.

She holds esteemed certifications, including Level 7 certification from American Ballet Theatre and her credentials as a National Ballet Examiner with Dance Masters of America, and is a proud member of International Dance Council, UNESCO.

Her extensive background encompasses diverse styles, from Classical Ballet to Flamenco, Folk, Character, Tap, Latin, and Spanish Dance.

Cecilia has demostrated significant leadership to her field. For 18 years, she headed the Fisher Fine Arts Center and Ballet Phoenix School, and for nearly 15 of those years, she directed the dance program at the Maryvale Community Center in Phoenix.

Her professional journey also includes over a decade teaching in Montessori Elementary Charter Schools in Arizona and 5 years leading the Rexburg Arts Center. Additionally, she served as an Activity Director for Senior Citizens at The Homestead Assisted Living in Idaho.

Arco City Ballet

Cecilia launched the Arco City Ballet School in January 2025. Her goal is to share her passion and knowledge of dance with the community. She offers world-class training that inspires creativity, discipline, and encourages hard work in every student.

Life Beyond the Studio

Outside the studio, Cecilia finds joy and balance in her personal life. She served a full-time mission before happily marrying Robert Fisher 23 years ago, and together they are parents to seven children. Away from ballet, Cecilia loves to cook spicy Peruvian dishes and cherishes sharing meals with close friends and family.
